Fruit ChildrenAs famine and disease gripped the land, the woodcutter wandered deeper and deeper into the forest that had provided for him and his wife. The times he’d visit home grew less and less frequent until his wife wasn’t sure whether he really existed at all. Her pregnancy held them together, without the swelling lump that reminded them both that children were on their way, the woodcutter’s wife was unsure if her husband would ever return. Food disappeared rapidly while the days drifted into one another. Things started moving from room to room, going then coming back. WoodsAt night  I walked  To the opening of a narrow path.  Lights smeared on nearby hills fail to  Creep close. Neat lines of windows  Tut and stare as an anxious mind  Decides on its future course.  I walk.   
Clawed branches snatch at the sky and walker;  The woods seem dark and feral despite their lack of age.  Odious thoughts of a self-crippling man  Breed, die then spill poison into the burnt blackness.  A tarmac road appears, civilisation proves inescapable.  Curiosity peeks through a corner,  A chocolate box cottage shines captivating.

No Title For This OneSharp new lines slice through a landscape chosen  To mould itself awkwardly around sun-  Lit blank brick buildings of interesting shape.  As the peace drops, new structures seem asleep,  Sea gulls dance for worms regardless. Dormant;  Large, strange new objects are now dominant  Over the impatient valley. Rabbits,  Crows, foxes reengage in natural habits.   
Transformation complete, the bare blank brick  Draws the temporary Brightoners in rank  Anticipating thoughts to emerge.  Yet the promising becomes a dirge;  The land rehealing to a shade of grey,  Where reason and logi No Title For This One

Getting back on the deviantART's a bit rough...
Got myself a subscription, feels a bit like wanking in that someone should be giving it to me 'cause I'm such a wonderful artist!

Have been pensively and furtively dipping my toes into the murky waters of the motherfucking internet for a while now so I'm back on this blackhole of a site now. Pictures, poems, prose, all will start making an appearence again. There's a story I've taken a bit of time on written down somewhere which'll be up next, a reworking of Hansel and Gretel.

Have a jolly one!


And don't kill anybody.
